Adam Neary
Board Member
Adam is a long time resident and active member of the community. He graduated from East Brunswick schools, he has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and received a Masters degree in Public Policy from Monmouth University.
His first job was at the ripe old age of 8, when he worked behind the counter at his father's Dairy Queen on Miltown Road. By nine, he realized that scooping ice cream, while great for his social life, was not his career path.
By day he is the Director of Legislative Affairs at the NJ Department of Human Services. By night, he's a mild-mannered volunteer currently supporting a number of community organizations like the Arts Coalition, Lions Club, East Brunswick Charitable Foundation. Most importantly, he has been a member of Playhouse 22 since 1991 and has served as the Executive Producer for nearly a decade.
Adam received the David Mcmenniee Award by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters as well as numerous nominations and awards for his work on many Playhouse 22 shows.
