Join us for OPEN MIC NIGHT at Habibi Motor Café—a community-powered night of music, poetry, spoken word, and performance.
This event builds on the success of the first SunsetBLV Open Mic at the South River VFW, where we featured 10 performers, a full youth band set from East Brunswick High School, and raised donations that helped support local veterans. In collaboration with Diesel Athletic Academy, we were able to donate 10 turkeys plus additional holiday food items to veterans and families in need.
Now we’re bringing it closer to home in East Brunswick—partnering with the East Brunswick Arts Coalition and the Sentinel Athletic League to grow this into a regular series that showcases artists of all types: singers, musicians, poets, storytellers, and more. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space for students and community members to express themselves—and to keep giving back through meaningful local impact.
