What a night! Thank you to those who joined the East Brunswick Arts Coalition for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
East Brunswick Mayor Dr. Brad Cohen cut the ribbon with the East Brunswick Town Council Board Members, the Playhouse 22 Board of Directors, and the East Brunswick Coalition Board Members. Also present on stage were 18th District Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin and Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak

March 6 2020 - The East Brunswick Arts Coalition (EBAC) distributed approximately $15,000 in grants to various arts and cultural groups based in the Township. The monies awarded are designated to be used in creating new arts, historical or culturally-themed programming within East Brunswick.
During the evening, which took place at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in East Brunswick, Mayor Brad Cohen and the EBAC distributed grants to the East Brunswick Arts Commission ,East Brunswick Museum Corp., East Brunswick Historical Society, The Human Relations Council and Playhouse 22, the Township’s own community theater troupe.

Making a Difference
The East Brunswick Arts Coalition is empowered to fundraise for and coordinate current and planned arts activities in a community already known for its diverse range of arts and heritage events.
The Coalition’s 12-member board of directors consists of seven individuals appointed by the Mayor and one representative apiece drawn from each of the township’s existing Arts Commission, Museum Corporation, Human Relations Commission, Historical Society and Playhouse 22 Community Arts Center
Doing What’s Needed
Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus for the East Brunswick Arts Coalition, and a source of much success for our Arts events. Tackling the Issue
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
